Seán Talbot (he/him) is an Irish theatre and performance artist and researcher based in Glasgow, Scotland. He creates works that encompass physical, theatrical and comedic performance and writing, environmental, ecological site responsive practices, community food and dining, audio experiences, queer autobiographies, participatory events and workshop facilitation.
Seán is inspired by artists and companies such as Simone Kenyon, Forced Entertainment, Le Gateau Chocolat, Lucy Muck, Climavore, to name a few. With his work he seeks to share and nourish creativity, and explores pleasure, intimacy, joy and sustainability. He often looks to the natural world and interrogates how we relate to non-human beings.
Seán has worked with Dublin Youth Theatre, the 24hr Play Company, Liz Roche Dance, 21Common and more. He studied Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Theatre Studies Performance at Inchicore College of Further Education.
